Higuey City Tour – From Punta Cana

What will we do?

• We will pick you up at your hotel and just an hour later we will arrive in Higüey: the capital of the Dominican province of La Altagracia.
• We will first visit a tobacco factory. Do you know how this typical product is made? We will know the main techniques in this artisan house. You’ll be surprised!
•  The next stop will be the Basilica-Cathedral of Our Lady of La Altagracia. This modern sanctuary, located in the heart of Higüey, is consecrated to one of the most revered virgins by Dominicans.
• We will continue the excursion in the Higüey Market, where we will see the great variety of exotic fruits of its stalls.
• Then we will go to the Sanctuary of San Dionisio. Do you know the link between this temple and the Virgin of La Altagracia? We will find out!
• Finally, we will go to the paradisiacal Macao beach, where we will make a brief photo stop.
